Testimonial: Online Spiritual Guidance with Lujan Matus
Lujan’s book The Power of Emptiness is about knowing, being, and not doing. I always knew the generalities about not doing. However, a deeper meaning eluded me until I read his book.
It was a requirement to read The Power of Emptiness before the two group chats with him. While I read the book, my heart opened effortlessly. There was no fear, resistance nor self-pity.
As with most of my spiritual experiences, it occurred out of the blue without intent. However, over time I have realized that every word, thought, action, and even micro-gestures may create intent without awareness of doing so.
As my negative mind talk has been subdued, the positive talk began to manifest exponentially with the opening of my heart. I also realized that the heart is the master of the human domain that has been subjugated in favor of logic and reason and, thus, the conundrum of our human condition.
While my heart was fully open, life became more effortless as there was no worry to contend with. At the same time, there was a clarity with knowing of what needed to be done and when. Hence, I am aware that access to one’s higher self is through the pathways of the heart.
An astrologer once told me, “The heart has no duality. It is one. It encompasses everything. The heart beams its love to the demons and saints of the world. It loves everyone and everything without exception.”
There was an essence of discernment of my environment and people without judgment. This awareness brought forth the essence of power within my being, propelling me forward to being more kind and loving without thought of doing so while having a wider perception with relaxation and an all-encompassing focus.
May I say that the heart is the throne of the goddess and god essence within us all?
During this time, my body felt vibrant and abounding with energy which added to the joy I felt within. This was a quiet resonating energy without huge spikes of energy up or down. In other words, I was well-grounded.
At this time, I can only imagine what it would be like to have the myriad of energy centers of my body open. However, there is an intuition that it would be like my luminosity and physical body morphing as one, embracing the joy of resurrection.

I resonate with your account of heartfelt expansion, as I have also experienced this when interacting with Lujan.
Your words “every word, thought, action, and even micro-gestures may create intent without awareness of doing so” speak of our responsibility. I notice this inside of me when I talk to people, and wish to stop it. Living without this unconscious acting opens space inside and quiets the heart. Lao Tzu describes the sages of the olden times like “the uncarved block” ; I see them having no crevices or wrinkles of intent on their faces 🙂
