Testimonial – Golden Lotus Workshop

I had the pleasure of meeting Nagual Lujan Matus for the Golden Lotus Workshop in October. It was the first time I attended one of his workshops and I was really excited to finally meet the man who I had been reading about for over five years.

My first impression of him was surreal and it’s hard to put into words what I felt. His aura was like that of the twinkly glow of sunlight on soft powdery snow. I felt a warm, soft, bright glow emanating from him.

I have been practising Tai-Chi for over five years and I was expecting some similarities, however, as I learned the movements of the Golden Lotus I felt it was very unique. After practicing and trying to learn the unique movements for the first few days I was able to realise the effectiveness of the Golden Lotus technique. I especially felt the effectiveness of the unique spiral movements.

I felt as though I had a harder time than the other participants as I’m not a native English speaker and my limited English meant I had difficulty with understanding everything immediately. However, thanks to the kindness of the other participants I was able to keep up with the group.

I thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and the entire trip. It was great meeting like-minded people in such a beautiful and serene environment.

I look forward to the next workshop where I hope to learn the Dragon’s Tears technique.
