Testimonial - Opening the Tao

I went to Sedona to learn Opening the Tao with Lujan and was expecting many people to be there. As I showed up I realized I was the only one coming. I was honored that Lujan didn’t cancel it and instead work with me personally both energetically and with my technique (not that they’re different much).

I experienced immense amounts of emotional turbulence the first few days as my mind spiraled into loneliness and despair. Lujan revealed deep truths about my life to me that were destabilizing, though incredibly needed to be looked at.

On the third day I was conflicted as to whether I wanted to continue with the rest of the training. I blamed Lujan for my emotional upheavals and confusion. I didn’t understand what was happening and aside from the judgments, I had towards Lujan I was sad and hopeless. I didn’t see how I could make it through this mire of emotion.

This experience fell right in alignment as I was reading The Power of Emptiness; the section on the passerby principle. I was being confronted with my own life in this process.

The demons of my life were revealing themselves and challenging me to love, release and see them fully so that at my death they will be a mere glimpse of acceptance rather than the horrors that may destroy my process of walking through the doorway of bardo.

I’m so glad that I pushed through. I saw Lujan that evening and he proceeded to tell me all that I had thought that day. How I was blaming him and how I was doing violence to myself through my hyper-focus on these emotions. As we spoke, clarity came to me and a deep sense of being known and loved came over me.

Lujan is human, and what a wonderful human. He truly cares deeply for his students and does everything he can to aid in the unraveling that happens naturally through practicing Lo ban Pai.

Being in his physical presence and learning from him is vastly more powerful than any online training you will receive. The ability to transmit the beauty of these movements and teachings is incredibly tangible, and Lujan’s ability to transmute the life circumstances presented in each student is life-altering.

I am so grateful to know Lujan and receive from him and it has given me tools to maintain empathic communion like nothing else I’ve tried. Thank you thank you, Lujan! Sending all my love.
