Lujan Matus is offering a group workshop in the Three Treasures from April 14th-21st, 2018. Spaces will be limited for this residential retreat that will take place on the beautiful island of Koh Samui, Thailand.

No prerequisites are needed to attend this workshop. Lujan will be teaching introductory and intermediate movements and concepts combined, so that complete beginners can attend this course and learn the Three Treasures program and be able to perform the movements with expert precision.

Lujan will also be introducing aspects of the Shadow Fist of Lo Ban Pai, to give everybody a complete understanding of the application of self-defense – not as just from a physical perspective – but as the experience of unwavering communion that comes from cooperative contact.

This form has the ability to shift the quantum field of the practitioner through the activation of the biomagnetics of the toroidal field of the blood, which is a very important aspect of the Three Treasures. In this unique system one will learn to be transported timelessly in the moment they are learning to practice it and this has to be experienced to be understood.

You will begin to understand that blood drives the power of the heart and assists within its precious beating, which helps the practitioner to know that each cell is an individual unit of information that symbiotically are connected to each other in billions of fractal convergences. This lays open the shen gongs that give access to our multi-faceted nature, which reveals our quantum capacity to interact interdimensionally. Via this awareness you will obtain the precious elements of spirit, which touch upon the beingness that is activated through the sophisticated movements of this system.

Spiral Energetics/Lo Ban Pai – The Three Treasures

The Three Treasures of Jing, Chi and Shen is a familiar concept in Eastern energy arts and internal alchemy. Although there are no exact translations for these terms they are generally interpreted as Essence, Energy and Spirit. The essential goal of all Oriental healing arts is to cultivate, balance and expand the Three Treasures.

The Three Treasures set, as taught by Lujan Matus, is an energetic movement form that combines chi cultivation with advanced dragon coiling as its essential core essence. Dragon coiling acts as a catalyst to activate and open the energy centers of the body to prepare them for absorption of Jing, Chi and Shen.

The Three Treasures set allows the practitioner to activate the dormant capacity of DNA to reawaken and heal the body from within. This also opens vast new horizons to be explored.

While we practice the Three Treasures, a portion of our energetic structure phases out of this dimension momentarily. In doing so it accumulates information from other realities that is brought back as knowledge that is pertinent to the practitioner’s evolution. This information can be utilized and realized if our essential three treasures are clear and open.

There are no prerequisites for this group workshop and students of all levels are welcome to attend.

The Retreat Location

Koh Samui is one of Thailand’s largest islands and is an oasis of natural beauty with its white sandy beaches, dazzling coral, luscious lagoons, picturesque waterfalls, swaying coconut trees and crystal clear water. Samui is well known for its coconuts, which are available everywhere and quite delicious.

Arrival and Visas

Koh Samui has an international airport (airport code USM) with direct flights from many major cities.

30-day Visa-on-Arrival and Visa-Free entries are available at Samui Airport for many nationalities including Australia, United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Belgium, Spain, New Zealand and many others. Check with the Thai embassy to confirm the details for your country.

A unique feature of the international departure gate is a courtesy corner which provides food and drinks for all passengers in a cozy outdoor sitting area.

The major reason why people come to Samui is to enjoy the beaches. The south of Thailand has some of the most beautiful beaches and islands in the world, which are surrounded by crystal clear water and stunning coral. The retreat venue is located right on the beach making this an ideal setting for long walks and relaxation.

Koh Samui has a rich Buddhist heritage and you can visit many temples including the Laem Sor Pagoda, which is just five minutes walk from the retreat. Another temple, Wat Kunaram, houses the preserved body of Lung Padaeng, known as the Mummified Monk because he is still sitting in the meditation position for more than twenty years after his death.

The Retreat Center

The workshop will take place at Samahita Retreat, which has been voted one of Asia’s top ten wellness resorts. It is in a quiet area off the beaten track, with plenty of privacy and comforts, yet still close to markets and amenities. The beach is virtually private and many rooms have a direct sea view, while the surroundings are lush and green.

Many of Koh Samui’s special attractions are nearby including waterfalls and temples and more. A walk down the beach brings you to the golden Laem Sor Pagoda of a realized Buddhist monk.

The retreat facilities include a meditation garden, a wellness center (Spa) and treatment rooms, an herbal steam room, a saltwater swimming pool, a lounge, a restaurant that serves delicious vegetarian cuisine, a full juice bar, and a boutique.

There is a strong commitment to keep eco-friendly standards using 100% natural non-bleach cotton sheets and towels, solar-powered hot water, mosquito screens for cross ventilation and energy-saving technology and designs.

The Daily Schedule

Students arrive on the evening of April 14th to check in and become orientated. For six days from April 15th- 20th there will be two training sessions daily; one in the morning and another in the afternoon. Check out time is 12pm on April 21st.

The workshop fee includes accommodation, three full buffet meals daily and full use of the retreat facilities.

Students have the option to include detox and wellness treatments such as Thai massage and colon hydrotherapy at an additional cost.

The retreat food philosophy is based on the principle of “Sattva”, a Sanskrit term that means pure and light with a basis of easy to digest. The majority of meals are vegetarian but fish and seafood is offered once a day. For those who want to experience real Thai cuisine, there are many traditional dishes that will satisfy your taste.

For those that want to eat light and natural, there will be a raw food offering for all meals. The retreat also has a full-service juice bar serving up all types of juices, including home-grown organic wheatgrass, in addition to a variety of blended shakes and healthy snacks.

The rooms are set back from the main retreat, perfect for quiet contemplation and relaxation. There are rooms for couples and singles, as well as loft-style accommodations that are ideal for two people sharing.
